Easy to reach, whether by car, train or plane. The Hotel Der Waldhof in Zell am See is in an excellent location, just a stone’s throw from the nearest gondola station and a short walk from the town center and the popular Lake Zell.
- By car / parking lot:
Please enter “Schmittenstraße 47 in 5700 Zell am See” in your navigation system.
We recommend that you take the exit “Knoten Pongau / Bischofshofen” in the direction of Zell am See from the A10 (Tauernautobahn). Continue on the B311 in the direction of Zell am See. There you turn into the valley at the crossroads in the town center towards Schmittenhöhe Bahn. After 800 meters you have reached your destination.
- On foot:
From Zell am See train station: The Hotel Der Waldhof is about a 15-minute walk away. Follow the Schmittenstraße in the direction of the Schmittenhöhebahn.
After 800 meters you will find our hotel on the left side of the road.
- By public transportation:
The nearest bus stop is called “Hotel Der Waldhof”. Lines #71 stop there
From the airport: Take the train in the direction of “Zell am See Bahnhof”. Duration approx. 1 hour and 30 minutes.
By cab:
From the train station: Our hotel is about 1km or only a 15-minute walk from Zell am See train station. If you would like to take a cab for this route, you will find cabs directly in front of the station building. Duration approx. 5 min. Costs between Euro 7,- and Euro 10,- depending on traffic and time of day.
