Get out into the fresh air: with children’s and family ski courses as well as our own in-house ski rental, skiing vacations with children in Zell am See are a joy on two boards. A direct ski path leads from the Schmittenhöhe ski area, our local mountain, directly to the hotel, where you can park and store your winter sports equipment in our own ski cellar. How about a bit of tobogganing fun? Directly behind the Waldhof is the public toboggan run, which is open depending on snow conditions and also invites you to enjoy fun runs in the evening. You can hire your toboggan from us free of charge.

Indoor fun in winter

As beautiful as the winter wonderland around the Waldhof is, occasionally you want to enjoy the comforts of home. Two indoor playrooms are available for different age groups. The younger ones can let off steam in the ball pool or on the climbing tower with slide. A dedicated painting corner stimulates the imagination. On request, we will be happy to organize a babysitter (costs from € 12,- / hour) so that you can enjoy a quiet evening for two. Youngsters are spoiled for choice: Goal wall, Playstation, Nintendo Switch and various board games are available. There is also a table tennis room, table soccer and a pool table.
