Overview of toboggan runs in Zell am See and Kaprun
There are many tobogganing options. They all have special advantages and features. We can warmly recommend the following courses:
- Köhlergraben: With its 2 km length, the floodlit course is particularly suitable for children. From the Waldhof you can hike comfortably uphill to the starting point at Gasthof Köhlergraben or take the toboggan bus, which stops directly in front of our hotel.
- Guggenbichl: Also 2 km long, this run is located at the Guggenbichl snack station in Kaprun. Rent your toboggan on site and enjoy evening and night rides until 11 pm.
- Kohlschnait: A short detour to Gries takes you to a particularly beautiful natural toboggan run. The floodlit Kohlschnait toboggan run takes you on three varied kilometers through the snow-covered winter landscape.
- Bramberg: The Wildkogel Arena Bramberg is about 40 minutes away by car, but the rapid ride over 1,300 meters of altitude on the 14 km long toboggan run is definitely worth the short trip. Smaller family rides await you all around, where things are a little more leisurely.
- Maisiflitzer: The year-round toboggan run on the Maiskogel is also open in winter. First let yourself be pulled uphill and then plunge down the 1.3 km long descent. Fasten your seatbelt properly and regulate your own speed.
